Because Ohioans deserve a Senator who is committed to protecting working families, creating good-paying jobs, and moving past the failed policies of the Trump era.

But the truth is that Republicans are just one seat away from control of the Senate, so Mitch McConnell is gunning hard for a win in Ohio. We have to win not only my race, but also defend the seats Democrats currently hold.

We can’t afford to lose a single seat. That’s why I am asking:

My race is certain to be one of Democrats’ top pickup opportunities in 2022 — in fact, Ohio already has a Democrat in the Senate, so we know a win here is possible.

But national Republicans know this too, and they’ll throw millions of dollars into stopping our momentum. That means I can’t afford for any supporter to sit this race out, and it’s why I have to ask:

Can you split a contribution, of any amount you can afford, between my campaign and Tammy Duckworth? I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t so important.

Flipping this seat won’t be easy. But I know that with the support of this grassroots team, we can come out on top AND keep Tammy in the Senate.
