Coronavirus Update:
Dear Neighbors,
I have a great update to share with parents who are eager to have their young children vaccinated against COVID-19. Ward 3 will be hosting a pop-up vaccination clinic for children ages 5-11 at the Palisades Recreation Center this Sunday. The Palisades site is among a number of pediatric walk-up clinics launching this weekend where no appointment is needed. Should you visit a site that has run out of doses, there are more pediatric pop-up clinics scheduled through the end of the month (that full list is available: here). If you plan to have a non-parent or guardian bring your child to a vaccination site, please fill out the following form to be presented when your child receives their first dose vaccination: Trusted Party Consent & Verification.
Here's the full weekend schedule for pop-up pediatric vaccination clinics:
Friday, November 5th
- Ft. Stanton Recreation Center (1812 Erie Street SE) from 3:30pm - 7:30pm
- Takoma Community Center (300 Van Buren Street NW) from 3:30pm - 7:30pm
Saturday, November 6th
- Hillcrest Recreation Center (3100 Denver St SE) from 10am - 3pm
Sunday, November 7th
- Palisades Recreation Center (5200 Sherier Pl NW) from 10am - 3pm
- North Michigan Park Recreation Center (1333 Emerson St NE) from 10am - 3pm
Regards,
Mary
