In 2018, Katie flipped a red seat blue by running on a bold progressive agenda. She is a long-time fighter for working people, and during her first 10 months in Congress has already made a name for herself by schooling corporate executives and Trump administration officials during testimony.
Last week Katie scorched Mark Zuckerberg during a Facebook hearing, asking him about the 15,000 contractors who are paid as little as $30,000 a year to watch “murders, stabbings, suicides, other gruesome, disgusting videos, for content moderation.”
Because Katie flipped a red district AND is unafraid to take on corrupt CEOs and Wall Street politicians, there’s no question she’ll face attacks from Democrats and Republicans alike in her re-election.
We need leaders like Katie in Congress who actually represent the people’s voices, not greedy corporations. And right now, she needs us to have her back.
Together, it’s up to us to elect even more working people into Congress to ensure our voices are heard. And that starts by defending champions like Katie Porter.
