We all watched the local election results roll in across cities and states from this past Tuesday – and in about a year, we'll be doing the same for the 2022 midterm elections.

It'll be a slew of campaigns, candidates, and critical issues from now until then – but make no mistake, the ACLU is also intensely focused on another imperative side of these elections too:

That your right to vote be protected and your community represented fairly.

This is why redistricting matters, ACLU Supporter. It's why we won't stop talking about it. The maps that are being drawn now will directly impact midterms, not to mention your voting power for a decade.

So we're fighting with everything we've got to ensure this process is done right – monitoring in every state and litigating in courts to make sure our democracy works for all people.
