John,
The situation in Afghanistan is untenable. Millions of children and families are going hungry, and with winter around the corner, things are only expected to get worse.
The IRC is working around the clock to get medical treatment, winter supplies and other critical aid to displaced children and families. Please rush your emergency donation to help deliver urgently-needed aid in Afghanistan and crisis zones worldwide:

Afghanistan is facing one of the worst humanitarian emergencies of our time. Political instability has displaced more than three million people this year alone and left many without access to clean water, food and basic necessities.
The IRC has been in Afghanistan through thirty years of conflict and crisis, and we will stay as long as we are needed. Our teams are on the ground helping people access the resources they need, distributing blankets and supplies to help displaced families survive the winter, and running mobile medical clinics to reach people in need no matter where they are.
As a compassionate supporter of the IRC, I know we can count on you in times of crisis. Will you make a special emergency donation to help us reach more families in crisis in places like Afghanistan?

Your donation today can make all the difference for a malnourished child or displaced family.
Thank you in advance for your generous support of our work.
