Victory! Roku Finally Shuts Down Pornhub

For years, Roku has hosted hundreds of private channels for pornography—including Pornhub—and was the only mainstream media streaming company that allowed pornography on its platform and devices.

Earlier this year, the International Centre on Sexual Exploitation (a division of NCOSE) and 41 survivors and advocates sent a letter to the CEO of Roku requesting they shut down the Pornhub channel and block any hosting of MindGeek entities. We have also been in communication with many of Roku’s shareholders throughout 2021.

Now, Roku has announced they will be shutting down Pornhub and other pornography sites in March 2022.

We need fighters like you for WRAP Week!

In connection with WRAP (White Ribbon Against Pornography) week, we encourage you to get involved in the movement against pornography.

Pornography is harmful to society and unsolicited child exposure is growing rampant.

The time is now to get loud about and speak out against the harms of pornography!

Join the #KidsToo Movement

As social media platforms like Facebook, TikTok, Snap, and YouTube have testified in Congress subcommittee hearings over the last several weeks, one thing has been very clear: their lack of regard for kids has reached a tipping point.

The time is now to guard our children from companies and people that make it easy for them to be manipulated and exploited.
