John -- I'm writing to ask you to make a donation to my husband's campaign for United States Senate in Alaska before our end-of-month fundraising deadline on Thursday. I hope you'll give me a moment to explain why this request is so important -- especially right now. Alaska is officially on the map to taking back the U.S. Senate. That happened when folks like you stepped up to help Al outraise Sullivan last quarter, leading the Alaska Democratic Party and 314 Action Fund to make important endorsements. But Dan Sullivan has a cash-on-hand advantage of over $2 million -- and a lot of that is from corporate PACs and lobbyists. So I have to ask, will you make an urgent donation of $5 or more before Thursday's end-of-month fundraising deadline? Building a campaign in Alaska takes significant resources -- after all, our state is bigger than Texas, California, and Montana combined! But Al is committed to campaigning all over the state, so that voters can hear from him directly on how he'll make healthcare more affordable, protect a woman's right to choose, end Citizens United, fight for labor unions and workers, and take on climate change. We even have a camper to help do it -- but how many places Al can go each month depends on folks like you chipping in what you can when you can:  So when you see photos of Al in places like Homer or Fairbanks on social media, you'll know your contribution helped get him there -- and it helped close the fundraising gap with Dan Sullivan.
