MIQ is a lottery of
human misery and it’s gone on long enough.
It’s time to allow
fully-vaccinated and tested travellers back into New Zealand without
having to endure this shameful system.
We are all aware of the
heart-wrenching experiences that people have had to endure, and still
do.
It doesn’t have to be this way.
Fully vaccinated
travellers present negligible risk. Just two fully vaccinated
travellers in MIQ have tested positive later than day 8 since August
23.
Ending MIQ would reunite families, end the enormous anguish
at the heart of the system, boost tourism, and help fill skill
shortages in New Zealand.
