Today, the unpatriotic GOP lawmakers in the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs walked out during a vote to pass the historic Deborah Sampson Act to extend healthcare and benefits to our female veterans.
After their attempts to derail the bill through partisan tricks failed, they stood up and walked out instead of doing their job and voting. The GOP showed that they couldn't care less about the 2 million women who risked their lives for our nation.
Let’s continue the push. When I’m in Congress, I guarantee that this disrespect will not stand -- give a donation to my campaign and let’s make sure that women who go in harm's way are never forgotten in Washington again. FULL STOP!
