I (Jeremy) spent much of my early adulthood chasing the American Dream: the idea that if I just worked hard enough, I would achieve great success.


For me, success looked like climbing the corporate ladder and gaining wealth. As a financial adviser in Colorado, I took on ambitious business ventures, always striving for more. I wanted to provide plenty for my family and look good doing it.


I placed my value in what other people thought about me. My life had to look a certain way. We had to have a certain amount of money.


But, It's just impossible to keep up with that.
