As more Americans are able to receive a COVID-19 vaccine, our country is opening up, building back, and moving forward.
Unfortunately, that’s not the case for many other nations that need our support. I recently reached out to public health officials to ask that San Diego be permitted to donate unused vaccines to Mexico before they expire. But so far, nothing has been done.
I need your help in asking public health officials to permit the US to share unused vaccines with countries that need them. With your support, we can stop unused vaccines from going to waste and can work toward finally ending this pandemic.
So tell us, do you support efforts to share unused vaccines with our neighbors in need?
We will not be truly free of this pandemic until we vaccinate everyone around the world. The United States must lead the global vaccination effort, and that starts with sharing unused vaccines with other countries.
As vaccines have only a six month shelf life, we need to act fast in getting them to our neighbors across the border before they expire. It’s important our leaders know what you think. Weigh in here: https://go.scottpeters.com/a/vaccine-donation
Thank you for taking action,
