The 2022 election is one year from now, and it’s going to be a big one for Oregon’s environment. There’s a lot on the line—we’ll be electing a new Governor, adding a congressional seat and electing a new member of Congress, and all of our state legislative districts will be redrawn, creating a big power shift in Salem.

As I look ahead to 2022, these are the big questions keeping me up at night...
Our next Governor will be elected in 2022. Will they be a climate champion?
In 2022, we’ll add an additional congressional seat. Will our new member of Congress represent our strong environmental values in Washington, D.C.?
All of our state legislative districts will be redrawn. Will we elect strong, pro-climate majorities in the Oregon House and Senate?
The next year will be pivotal in Oregon’s history and in determining our climate future.
