Hi John, I wanted to make sure you saw Jared’s message about what this week’s election results mean for us in ME-02.
The bottom line is, it’s looking more and more like our race could determine whether or not Democrats hold the House majority next year. We need to step up our game, because now is not the time to become complacent.

It’s clear that holding the House in 2022 won’t be easy. And whether or not Democrats maintain the majority is going to come down to what happens in races like ours here in Maine’s Second.
Right now the only thing standing between continuing the progress we’ve made and looking at a Kevin McCarthy Speakership is just five seats -- and election experts are calling ME-02 “the most competitive US House race in the country” and a “top House battleground.”
We can’t become complacent or take anything for granted.
All signs are pointing to ME-02 being the tipping point for which party controls the House after 2022, so we need to double down on our efforts to invest early and reach more voters than we’ve ever reached before.
