All over the country, Republican politicians are weaponizing the redistricting process to bolster their political ambitions and agendas while weakening voters’ voices in our democracy.

It’s happening here in Ohio, too.

This week, Republican lawmakers in the Ohio legislature proposed new, heavily gerrymandered maps that would give the GOP an outsize advantage in coming elections.

Ohioans voted for a fair and nonpartisan redistricting process -- not once, but twice -- but the Ohio GOP is ignoring Ohio voters.

Pass it on: Politicians shouldn’t be able to pick their voters. It should be the other way around. [[link removed]]

It's not just Ohio.

Just last month, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed into law new gerrymandered district maps that solidify the Texas GOP’s power while diluting the voting power of people of color.

We need to make as much noise as possible about this. That’s why I’m reaching out to dedicated grassroots activists like you -- will you help spread the word about what’s happening in Texas, Ohio, and across the country on social media? [[link removed]]

With gratitude,
