Team, we have made amazing progress in the state of New Mexico, and remain optimistic about the future we’re building together.

This November, nearly 20,000 more New Mexicans went to the polls than in 2019. We worked hard to mobilize voters across our state, and because of your support, we saw huge successes this year.

Across New Mexico, voters reaffirmed their commitment to our platform by supporting candidates with progressive, Democratic values. Values that call for strong investments in education, the environment, and protecting our most vulnerable communities.

To celebrate our achievements, we’ve outlined some of our major victories below:

In Albuquerque, Mayor Tim Keller achieved a sweeping victory with 55% of the vote; and former teacher and AFT-endorsed candidate Josie Dominguez won a large victory over her conservative opponent.
In Santa Fe, Mayor Alan Webber also won a significant victory against the two other mayoral candidates.
In Las Cruces, Ray Jaramillo, Pam Cort, and Robert Wofford handily defeated conservative opponents.

It’s critical that we continue electing leaders who will support working families and fight for transformative legislation.

There’s a lot at stake in 2022. We must build on our success and secure even more investments for our communities. Together, we can secure life-changing investments in early childhood education, working families, our most vulnerable communities, and our public lands.

To succeed, we need to keep breaking voter turnout rates in 2022! We have to start now to win big next year. Can you donate $10 right now to help us continue the fight for New Mexicans?

In solidarity,
-- New Mexico Democrats
