Hi John,
Last month you might have gotten one of the coolest Snapchat push notifications ever -- one from us!
Snapchat (which reaches 90% of 13-to-24-year-olds in the U.S.) asked their millions of users to run for office. Since then, we've had nearly 5,000 diverse young progressives sign up to Run for Something!
It was the biggest candidate recruitment effort in history -- and now we need the biggest volunteer team to match it.
The next step in our recruitment process is a conversation with a volunteer that's as simple as, "What are you passionate about?" And the only way we can have that conversation with these 5,000 new potential candidates is with your help.
John, will you join our volunteer team and help onboard these 5,000 new diverse young progressives? You don't need ANY previous experience, just a kind listening ear, and we'll train you every step of the way >>
After you sign up, you'll first have a short training call with me that we hold every two weeks -- so if you miss one, you can just join the next. Our next training call is on November 15th.
Then -- it's all up to you!
Pick your own hours and who you want to talk to. You might learn about the issues driving these diverse young progressives to run or help the next Lina Hidalgo or Anna Eskamani or Justin Bibb (who just won his race for Cleveland mayor!) decide what office they want to run for.
You'll be getting valuable experience working with future candidates -- and joining them on their journey for a better future for all of us.
Thanks, and I hope to work with you soon!
