Hi
John,
3M is feeling the heat thanks to everyone who’s spoken up about the company’s pinkwashing. Help us keep the pressure on in the final days of Breast Cancer Industry Month. Tell 3M to Say Never to Forever Chemicals if they really care about breast cancer.
3M recently rolled out a slick video that brags “no problem is unsolvable”. We’re happy to hear that if it means it’s “no problem” for 3M to stop production of all PFAS and to create non-highly fluorinated chemicals that don’t increase the risk of breast cancer. The video is part of 3M’s new press campaign, “Improving Lives,” and shows they’re worried about their brand and reputation.
The best way for 3M to really “improve our lives” is to go beyond empty marketing campaigns and Say Never to Forever Chemicals!
There are only three more days to hold 3M accountable and tell them no more harm and no more PFAS! They say they want to “Stick Up” for breast cancer while producing chemicals that stick around forever – this is far from an improvement.
Join us and others who have already sent thousands of letters to 3M executives! It’s simple: we’ve drafted a letter you can customize and send directly to 3M’s Chief Executive Officer and Senior Vice President of Business Development & Marketing Sales.
It’s time for this multibillion-dollar company to stop pinkwashing, and put our health before their PFAS profits.
Best,
Karuna Jaggar
