Each week, Abigail and I check in about our fundraising goals and how we’re progressing. As we get closer to the end of each month, those fundraising goals become much more urgent.

We’re running a tier-one race, so we need to raise the necessary funds each month – and October is no exception. A year from now, we’ll be engaged in a close contest. The money we raise today will help us pay for critical TV ads, mail, and our hard-working team.

Outside conservative groups and national Republican Super PACs have already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars on ads against Abigail just in the past three weeks. It’s only going to get worse next year.
