Takeaways from Tuesday's elections: Bad omens for Democrats

I won’t sugarcoat this: Tuesday’s election results were not what I was hoping for or expecting. Democrats lost winnable races in Virginia, Texas, Minneapolis, and nearly lost in deep blue New Jersey.

What this means: There are political headwinds working against Democrats across the country. And if we’re going to win the midterms in 2022, keep the House and Senate, and defeat right-wing radicals like Marjorie Taylor Greene, we need to start fighting right now.

I believe more strongly than ever that we can defeat her next November. But it’s going to take all of us. So today, I’m asking you to contribute $20.22 as a sign of support for our movement and to show Marjorie Taylor Greene that we are ready to fight in 2022.
