Hey, John, yesterday Morgan spoke
to two major Ohio newspaper and TV outlets about the results of the
Virginia gubernatorial election. Folks are hungry to learn what went wrong
and what this means for elections in 2022 and beyond.
Morgan was interviewed by the Cleveland Plain-Dealer and this was her
statement on Tuesday’s results:
“Democrats can’t keep relying on the same old playbook… Voters are
rejecting career politicians… New, exciting candidates with fresh ideas
who energize and turn out voters are our only pathway to victory. Most
importantly, Democrats need to have a forward-looking agenda and start
delivering results that tangibly improve people’s lives. We aren’t going
to win if we don’t.”
Morgan also appeared on Spectrum News 1 where she spoke more about how we
saw these key takeaways play-out in Ohio. On Election Day, we saw young,
diverse candidates dominate the races across the state.

flip-flopped on his views on reproductive rights, he accepts HUGE
donations from Big Pharma, and communities in Ohio have crumbled under his
watch.
This isn’t a guy who will motivate folks to get out to the polls and vote
and if he’s pitted against far-right sensationalist opponents like J.D.
Vance or Josh Mandel, we’ll lose Ohio.
