Dear John,
On Monday, I told you about Portland City Council's bereavement leave (including for those who are post-abortive). Statistically, most women choose abortion because they feel they have no other real option.
The pro-life movement needs to change that. As other states pass laws restricting abortion, and as SCOTUS takes on Dobbs [[link removed]] and other abortion cases, we need to be ready to help women where they need our help.
We've taken a big step here in Oregon, thanks to our donors. We hired Caila as our community outreach program manager.
Caila is going to be working hard to connect all the existing pro-life support existing here in Oregon. Through this process, she will also be identifying areas where women need more help.
We may have a long way to go in making our state government fully pro-life. But we can start making our communities pro-life.
To do that, can you help us reach our goal of an additional $500/month in monthly donations? That's just 50 people committing $10 a month. Or 25 people committing $20 a month.

That may not seem like much but it adds up to an additional $6,000 a year to help us support pro-life communities in Oregon. Thank you for joining our team! You make our work possible.
Because women deserve an advocate,
Lois Anderson
Executive Director
