Join us as we commemorate the 26th anniversary of the assassination of Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin z"l.
This event draws its inspiration from the "Asefa Israelit" (Israeli Assembly) led by a wide range of youth movements in Israel. The Coalition is excited to announce a return to in-person Youth Events in New York City, D.C. and Philadelphia. Join the youth movements in discussion circles debating the challenges facing Israeli democracy and pluralism in the North American Jewish community and Israel. The youth program will be led by a variety of leaders from different youth movements across North America.
The adult event will be held online, with discussion groups featuring a variety of guest speakers on topics related to Judaism, democracy and Rabin’s legacy in Israel and in the American Jewish community.
The event will conclude with a short memorial service online for youth and adults together.
The Jewish community across North America is coming together to support democracy and human equality as central in our Jewish values. Now is the time to turn to each other and spread this message. Together, we will remember the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, and stand up for democracy!
We invite you to join the program that will take place on Sunday, November 14, 2021.
