This morning, PRH Board Member and Fellow Dr. Ghazaleh Moayedi is testifying before the US House Judiciary Committee on what banning abortions for 60+ days has meant for Texas and the ripple effects being felt in other states. She’ll highlight why urgent federal action is needed to protect and expand access to abortion care in Texas and across the country.

The hearing will examine S.B. 8, Texas’s unconstitutional ban on abortion, and its devastating impact on communities and families.

As we await the Supreme Court’s ruling in the SB. 8 litigation, the Senate must act now and pass the Women’s Health Protection Act.
