We’ve since spotted it in multiple local newspapers across the country - and across social media.
But the ad seriously misinterprets Yellow Card reporting data. Yellow Card is an important scheme set up by the medicines regulator to investigate possible links between vaccines and adverse effects.
Suspected side effects can be reported by anyone, even if they aren’t sure they were caused by the vaccine. They are not “proof” of harm caused by vaccines.
All approved Covid-19 vaccines have gone through multiple clinical trials and have been recommended as safe by the UK's public health bodies.
