KUSD Special Meeting of Electors - That’s
YOU! Residents age
18+ of Kenosha, Somers, and Pleasant Prairie are asked to attend
and VOTE
NO for school board member pay
raises.
Why did a group that
includes teachers’ union members petition the school district for a
special meeting solely to restore the salaries of school board
members? What’s in it
for THEM?
On Sept. 21st, electors in
the KUSD district voted to cut school board pay due to the school
board's lack of accountability to the community. The change to salaries is
binding unless the teacher's union group is successful in reversing
the elector's vote. They didn’t like the results of a legally
conducted meeting of electors, so now they want a
RE-DO.
Enrollment has plummeted, and academic outcomes have steeply
declined, yet the district continues to increase
spending. KUSD suppresses free
speech by holding only virtual meetings, while meetings of the Kenosha
County Board and Kenosha Common Council are held safely in-person on a
regular basis. The School Board does not want to face parents who
disagree with them. Despite the claims of the NSBA, the DOJ, and the
Biden Administration, PARENTS ARE NOT DOMESTIC
TERRORISTS!
