John, did you see this Washington Post opinion piece? it makes a crucial argument: that D.C. Statehood isn’t just a D.C. issue. It’s a voting rights issue.

The nation’s 51st state would come with two new Senators, who could turn the tide of vital legislation in Congress and help us end the filibuster.

Right now, close to 700,000 tax-paying residents are being denied full representation, just so Republicans can maintain power.
