Roem Endorsement 2019

John,

Two years ago, Danica Roem made history by becoming the first openly
transgender state legislator in American history. Now, it's our
pleasure to endorse her again in 2019, as she continues to fight for
the residents of Virginia's 13th district in the House of
Delegates.

We are so proud to have the opportunity to support a strong leader
like Danica. She is blazing a path that is showing transgender people
from coast to coast that our voices can be heard in the halls of
government, and that our experiences can be put to work making
people's lives better. It means so much to me that her voice is
being heard across the country as a leader, and I'm sure it
means a lot to you, too.

From fixing Route 28 to fighting for equity in public schools,
she's been busy delivering for Virginians. Unfortunately,
she's facing transphobic attacks from an opponent who is
well-funded by anti-trans extremists. Let's make sure she has
another term to keep delivering for her constituents. Head over to her
website to learn more about Danica - but hurry, Election Day is next
Tuesday, November 5th!
