I’m the proud son of union workers, a State Senator, former science teacher, and a Dad.
I grew up in a working class family.
My parents immigrated here in hopes of creating a good life for me and my brothers.
It wasn’t easy -- we faced housing instability and lived paycheck to paycheck.
But they believed in the American Dream, never gave up, and their hard work paid off.
All of our families deserve a fighting chance at a good life. But my Republican opponent, Congressman Don Bacon, doesn’t have our backs -- he voted to cut taxes for the wealthy and left working class folks in the dust. I’m running for Congress to be the champion hardworking folks deserve, but this is going to be a close race.
