Nearly nine months ago I kicked off my campaign to be Pennsylvania’s next Lt. Governor. Since then, I’ve sponsored over 250 bills in the State House, canvassed across the Commonwealth to help elect Democrats up and down the ballot, and voted alongside Pennyslvanians in this year’s election.

With the door shut on Pennsylvania’s 2021 election, it’s full-steam ahead to Election Day 2022.

I entered this race because after a decade at the forefront of Pennsylvania’s battles for the LGBTQ community, women’s rights, voter protection, and more, I was ready to use my experience and discipline in service of our next Governor. But, John, I know it will take a lot more than 10 years of working through GOP obstruction and making progress in our state to win this race.

To win this race, we’ll have to reach voters in every corner of the Commonwealth by hiring organizers and staff on the ground, beefing up our digital strategy to meet voters online, and so much more. Winning elections is expensive work, but with multiple Republicans running for this seat and a long race ahead, these investments are critical to win. Waiting until next year or even next month will put us behind in this race so I’m asking:
