Dear friend,

Yesterday’s losses of progressive leadership in Virginia are deeply disappointing, and PPADMV will continue to fight ever harder moving forward. We want to thank each and every one of you for your hard work in this election, and we are energized that, thanks to you, we helped bring pro-reproductive rights candidates to victory in competitive races in Northern Virginia. Congratulations to Delegate Wendy Gooditis (HD-10), Delegate Dan Helmer (HD-40), and Delegate-elect Briana Sewell (HD-51) and all the other pro-reproductive health care candidates who won across Northern Virginia last night. We look forward to working with you and these progressive champions in Richmond to oppose any attempts to roll back the tremendous progress Virginia has made over the past couple years. 

We are so grateful to all of the candidates who ran in support of reproductive rights in this election and to all of you for volunteering your time and effort over these last months. The fight continues; we won’t go back.
