John,

On Monday, the Supreme Court began hearing oral arguments in challenges related to Texas' extreme abortion ban.

S.B. 8 is the most restrictive abortion law in the country, banning abortions after just six weeks, before most women even know they're pregnant. Since going into effect, women across Texas have been forced to travel hundreds of miles to get access to the reproductive care they need.

But attacks on reproductive rights aren't just limited to Texas or red states. Last night, Virginia -- a state Joe Biden won by over 10% -- elected a staunchly anti-choice governor. The results of the election show just how crucial it is that we stay engaged in the midterms. We can't get complacent with reproductive rights on the line. We need to commit to electing pro-choice leaders to fight back against attacks on reproductive care.

We need more leaders like Kim in Congress who will fight to protect access to reproductive care. If you're committed to electing more pro-choice leaders, add your name today >>

In September, Kim voted to pass the Women's Health Protection Act to block states from enacting medically unjustified barriers to accessing abortion care. If passed into law by the Senate, this bill will codify Roe v. Wade and help ensure people across the country have access to the care they need.

As the only pro-choice woman doctor in the House, Kim will always fight back against any attacks on Roe. But with so much on the line, it's critical we remain committed to electing leaders who will stand up for reproductive rights in 2022.

Add your name right now to commit to electing more pro-choice leaders like Kim to Congress.

National Republicans have named Rep. Kim Schrier's district a top target for the midterms, so we need your help to build another winning campaign. Will you chip in to protect Kim's seat and the Democratic House majority in 2022?
