John, the disappointing results in Virginia last night are a warning. An extreme, Trump-endorsed Republican just won the governor’s race in a state Joe Biden won by ten points.

Keep in mind that, in the last thirty years, our state has only elected a Democratic governor once. Now, Republicans have every reason to believe that 2022 is their year to return to power.

Virginia makes it clear that there are no red states or blue states. Instead, Democrats must be prepared for a fight in every state across the country.
