Next week, we’ll be exactly one year out from Election Day 2022. 

Facing the headwinds of midterm elections where Democrats control the White House, we know this isn’t going to be an easy race. Plus, without a federal candidate on the ballot, we are facing a projected 40% drop in revenue next year.

Even before the devastating GOP takeover in Virginia last night, Minnesota Republicans were already looking at next year’s race as their best opportunity in decades to flip Minnesota red. Republican candidates at all levels of government will be organized and well-funded.

We very likely won’t be able to match them dollar-for-dollar, but that’s ok because we have something corporate-funded Republicans never will: Our unmatched legacy of grassroots organizing has always been our competitive edge, and next week is our chance to show the MN GOP that we’ve never been stronger.

To prove that we’ve never been more prepared to defend our values, we set a goal of raising 2,000 individual contributions by the one-year-out mark on November 8. It’s an ambitious goal, but ambition is exactly what we need in this critical moment with so much on the line.
