It’s official: for the first time in 30 years, we Montanans will gain another congressional district. This is a huge opportunity for the future of our home. And I’m ready to do everything I can to make sure we don’t miss it.
Big corporations have spoiled our politics and weakened the labor laws that gave our lives stability here. We have the opportunity to undo that harm.
It used to feel safe and free here. We have the opportunity to protect people from economic, environmental, and public health threats again.
Montana gave the country the Wilderness Act, anti-monopoly laws, and much of the union movement. We can restore that leadership.
This is what we were — and what we can be again.
I’m Tom Winter, and I’m running for Congress because of the Montanans who are counting on people like us: the Montanans who clean the out-of-state billionaires’ ski houses, the Montanans who fight the fires, the Montanans who feel their lives getting more precarious, the Montanans who stand by each other.

I’m running for Congress not because I alone can fix these problems — but because I know we can if we work together. Together, we have no need to fear the fight against the corrupt interests that take advantage of our divisions. Together we can put outcomes ahead of ideology. Together we can bring back a Montana where we can live free, healthy, and prosperous lives.
