John,
With another month in the books on this campaign, we wanted to share some photos from the trail. Shervin is running for Congress in CA-30 to bring real, transformative change to the Valley and he's doing it person by person, door by door.
In early October, Shervin joined the reproductive rights march in Burbank to stand firmly against the assault on women's basic health care rights across the country. Everybody should have access to safe and legal abortion and we need leaders in Congress to codify Roe v Wade, repeal the Hyde Amendment, and enact Medicare for All.
Shervin also proudly joined The International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees to demand safe working conditions and living wages with basic benefits like time off and workday breaks. We are witnessing a new national labor movement as workers across many industries are rising in solidarity to demand living wages, good benefits, and safe working conditions. We must protect and empower these movements because all work has dignity, and all workers deserve justice.
Shervin got out and talked to neighbors and voters throughout the Valley, including at yet another driveway discussion, hosted by a local CA-30 resident in Sherman Oaks.
Shervin also joined our local Feel The Bern chapter along with Senator Nina Turner at a local evening reception to chat about the issues affecting our district.
And it wouldn't be a month in photos without photos of Barrett. This month he got to hang out with his grandparents and experience his first Halloween!
Thank you, John, We're so lucky to have you on our team.
