Just this morning, Speaker Pelosi announced a plan to put Paid Family and Medical Leave back into the Build Back Better plan before the bill goes to a vote in the coming days.

This is huge — our advocacy is working and we are so close to victory! But we haven’t made it over the finish line just yet.

Now we have to make sure Congress passes the Build Back Better budget with robust investments in the care economy, including paid family and medical leave, so that all people can access care at every stage of life. And the best way to do that is to let them hear our voices and our stories.

The Call Party Zoom will be open for the full hour, but it should only take about 20 minutes to practice and make your calls. So don’t worry if you can’t join for the full hour or can’t make it right at 2pm Eastern — feel free to sign in any time between 2 and 3 pm Eastern!
