Scientists say we must cut our emissions in half by the end of the decade
if we're to have any hope of averting climate catastrophe — but a new
report from the U.N. revealed that the planet is actually on track for a
significant increase in carbon emissions unless we act now.
President Biden and world leaders are convening this week for crucial
climate talks in Glasgow, Scotland, and Congress is on the precipice of
passing the Build Back Better Act, the boldest, most comprehensive climate
legislation in history.
However, giant fossil fuel companies and their congressional allies are
working hard to defeat any legislation that could cut into their dirty
