John, if you’re like me, you’re disappointed and alarmed by the Republican wins in Virginia, their shocking gains in New Jersey, and victories here at home in PA-08.

I won’t mince words -- Trump sees a Youngkin victory in Virginia as a MAGA victory and an indication that the far-right can take back the House with ease.

John, this should set off your alarm bells. My seat is the keystone to keeping the House blue, and without a huge groundswell of grassroots support from the people, I fear we will be overtaken by the far-right and the dark money supporting them.

Trump and the anti-democracy, anti-freedom right see this as a resounding win, and they will feel even more empowered to be bold with their attacks and their wild conspiracies.

If Democrats lose next year, we will never see popular, common-sense solutions passed like infrastructure investments, paid family leave, lowering prescription drug costs, strengthening unions, or affordable childcare.

If Democrats lose the House, it’s working families who will feel it the most, and I will do everything in my power to stop that from happening. Last night’s election results have only strengthened my resolve to win this fight. But to tell you the truth, John, I can’t do it alone.
