Metro Atlanta DSA Endorses Andrea Cervone for Clarkston City Council |
|
|
Metro Atlanta DSA is thrilled to announce our endorsement of Clarkston City Councilwoman Andrea Cervone, a DSA member who is currently seeking re-election in the city's General Election on November 5.
"Clarkston is leading the way on so many issues, from becoming the third city in Georgia to pass a comprehensive non-discrimination ordinance aimed at providing critical human-rights protections for our LGTBQ+ community, to passing a 100% clean energy future plan, approving the first tiny home development in Georgia, and launching our city-wide Urban Agriculture initiative. Join my campaign to help keep moving Clarkston forward!"

Earlier this week, former Georgia police officer Robert Olsen was found not guilty of felony murder in the slaying of Anthony Hill, an Air Force veteran who was unarmed and undergoing a mental health crisis when he was shot and killed.
Join the Alliance for Black Lives and March for Our Lives Georgia for a week of action to demand that the murder of Anthony Hill receives the max sentence of 35 years!
