One year from now, control of the House and Senate will be on the ballot.
And today, Washington Republicans have set their sights eastern Connecticut.
That’s right - just this morning, Connecticut’s second district was added to the House Republicans campaign Committee’s “target list.” This is a signal to donors and outside groups to direct money to districts like ours.
That’s why I need your help today. [[link removed]] We need to send a strong message now that this district is not up for grabs.
We’re already seeing the same tactics used in Virginia being used right here in eastern Connecticut - in the last few weeks, people have received fundraising letters from a republican congressional candidate inflaming the same culture war strategy that played flipped Virginia.
After last night it's only going to get worse.
