Our frontline, swing seat SEEC members haven’t shied away from the big environmental fights to save our planet.

We won’t sugarcoat it — we are disheartened by the election results in Virginia and New Jersey last night.

But even more frightening is thinking about 2022 when all SEEC members of Congress are up for re-election. And we have a dozen members who are known as “Frontliners” — those are the swing seat Congress members who keep the House of Representatives in Democratic hands.

John — With the election results last night still fresh in our minds, we’re aiming to raise rapid response grassroots donations to help fund and protect our SEEC members in Congress. Will you rush a donation right now so we don’t lose to fossil fuel interests in 2022?

Our frontline, swing seat SEEC members haven’t shied away from the big environmental fights to save our planet.

Rep. Abigail Spanberger (VA-02) wrote to House Speaker Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Schumer urging the agricultural-climate provisions remain in the Build Back Better agenda. Last night in the Virginia gubernatorial, Democrats lost her district by double-digits.

Just last week, other frontliner Rep. Katie Porter (CA-45) held Big Oil CEOs accountable in Congressional Hearings — calling out the billions that fossil fuel company Shell would be spending this year on oil, gas and chemicals and contrasting it with the very little they spend on renewable energy, despite its pledge to become a greener company.

John, we can’t let these great SEEC members be defeated in 2022 — but the elections last night have spurred us to raise rapid response donations to protect our toss-up SEEC members. Our members have stood up for our environment, will you stand up for them right now?

Thanks to your help in 2020, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 117th Congress while we undo the damage of the Trump Administration.
