We've got quite a few activities planned this month! Please come out to see what we're up to, talk socialism, and get involved with DSA's activities. We've just recently started holding midweek meetings for those who can't attend our Sunday meetings. We have a Socialist Happy Hour coming up where we talk socialism over drinks and food at Santa Fe Brewing Co's Brakeroom. Bring your socialist curious friend! As always, there will be snacks available.
DSA Santa Fé is committed to getting members of the community as involved in Direct Action activities as possible – tons of places around town need help, and it's a great way to engage in solidarity with your fellow comrades and the Santafesinos that need us most. Help Chainbreaker Distribute Voter Guides
Our neighbors at Chainbreaker Collective need help distributing their voter guide this weekend (Friday-Sunday) in advance of the Santa Fe City Council elections on November 5th. They will be flyering neighborhoods throughout Santa Fe. This is a great opportunity to meet other activists in our community and practice talking to strangers about the future of our city!

Serve Breakfast at DeVargas Park with Amigos Del Parque
Each day, our member Ned volunteers for los Amigos Del Parque to serve free breakfast and coffee for day laborers at DeVargas Park. Amigos Del Parque also distributes winter clothing. On Fridays they are typically short-handed and could use more help. Come participate in some direct action for some of Santa Fe's neediest.

We joined the striking United Auto Workers in Aurora!
General Motors' employees have been striking since September 15th in what is now the longest strike in 50 years. The past weekend, a handful of our Comrades drove up to Aurora, Colorado to join the UAW picket line outside of a GM parts distribution center. DSA Santa Fe is happy to show solidarity with UAW!
