Last night Democrat Terry McAuliffe lost to the Trump-endorsed Republican candidate, Glenn Youngkin, in a hard-fought race for Governor of Virginia. 

Virginia’s Governor’s race was widely seen as setting the stage for the 2022 midterm elections and the bad news is, far-right extremism and Trumpism won.

But there is some good news: This was by no means a landslide; it was a close race. And we don’t have to let extremism win here in Ohio.

We still have time to deliver a win for Ohio workers and elect someone who will go to the mat for them every single day.

If we want to stop Donald Trump and far-right extremism from winning in Ohio next year, we have to elect Tim and send him to the Senate. But he’s up against Trump wannabes and GOP mega-donors with deep pockets.

Now that we’ve closed the books on Election Day 2021 -- it’s time to turn our focus to 2022’s most important Senate race. Can you chip in to flip this open seat blue and expand our Democratic majority?
