Election Update II
 
I think we have a victory.  I hope we have a victory. 

But I want to express a note of caution:  With just over 90% of the vote in, Republican Glenn Youngkin is ahead in the Virginia governor's race, but his lead is shrinking considerably.  No network, including Fox News, has called the race. 
 
Democrat Terry McAuliffe just spoke to his campaign.  He notably did not concede.  He said he would wait until all the votes are counted. 
 
Well, under a new law passed by the Democrat legislature, mail-in ballots postmarked today can still be counted until noon on Friday.  Earlier today, Democrats were claiming that as many as 80,000 mail-in ballots still had not been delivered. 
 
While all the guests on Fox News are celebrating, given what happened to us in 2020, I can still see an outcome here that could be devastating. 
 
This is the last report I will send tonight.  We will know more tomorrow afternoon.  But if the 80,000 outstanding mail-in ballots is an accurate figure, we could find ourselves in another contested election fiasco.
