We're ready to share some final results from our New York City Council races: six out LGBTQ candidates have declared victory in their races!

We're so excited for Erik Bottcher, who will represent New York's 3rd City Council District (the home of the Stonewall Inn!), Tiffany Cabán and Lynn Schulman, who became the first out LGBTQ women elected to public office in Queens, Crystal Hudson and Kirstin Richardson Jordan, who became the first two Black out LGBTQ women elected to the council, and Chi Ossé, who is now the youngest person ever elected to the council!

Each of these candidates faced tough primaries and worked overtime to prove their credentials to voters. And their hard work paid off on Election Day!
