THE STATE OF THE RACE:

1) We are hanging onto our majority by a thread.
Republicans have targeted 47 vulnerable races to flip blue to red, so Democrats are playing defense in 2022.
Meanwhile, the Republican Party only needs to flip five seats to win both the House and the Senate.
Historically, midterm elections favor opposition parties -- so the Republicans are in a better position than us to pick up seats. If we don’t work hard -- and invest early -- we won’t be in a position to beat them.

2) Republicans are trying to disenfranchise voters across the country.
Republicans are doing all they can to block H.R. 1 in the Senate -- they’ve proven they won’t protect our voting rights.
Georgia Republicans just passed voter suppression legislation that some are comparing to Jim Crow laws -- we NEED to protect our voting rights nationally so state-level Republicans can’t get away with this.

3) The worst Republicans are RAISING MILLIONS to take our majority.
MAGA Republicans are raising millions off of fear-mongering and election denial -- so they’re incentivized to continue spreading hateful rhetoric to win.
In contrast, Democratic fundraising numbers have largely plateaued since the 2020 and Georgia runoff elections. We don’t have enough to defend ourselves against the attacks and smears coming our way.
If we don’t pick up the pace, we won’t be able to successfully counter their efforts.
