We’re seeing voting rights attacked across the country, and sadly Montana is no exception.

This year, Montana was one of 18 states -- all with Republican controlled legislatures -- that passed voter suppression laws going against the very nature of our democracy.

The GOP eliminated same-day voter registration, and made Voter ID laws for voting and registering to vote more restrictive and discriminatory.

These bills were designed with architectural precision to disenfranchise college students, seniors, and Native American communities all across our state. Not only are these policies bad for our democracy, Montana voters struck them down by referendum. By ramrodding these bills through the legislature, Republicans are going against the will of the people.

Our democracy is facing a crisis moment, and we must act with unprecedented urgency to protect it.

While our Republican representatives at home are attacking our right to vote, Republicans in Congress are still perpetuating massive election fraud myths to sow division among Americans. And Ryan Zinke is in this race to join their ranks.
