Alarm bells are ringing in North Carolina, folks.
-- Republicans have drafted manipulated maps that split up urban areas and would give the GOP a 10-year unfair advantage.
-- They are refusing to acknowledge that population growth in the Latino community is the reason North Carolina is gaining a congressional seat.
-- And they kept North Carolinians from weighing in on the process by scheduling "public hearings" with barely any notice and limiting the number of people who can participate!
We've seen this pattern before in states like Ohio and Texas. But we still have time to STOP THE GOP from manipulating maps across the country if you pitch in right now:

These Republicans are SHAMELESS, John. It even looks like they're using redistricting to help get the speaker of the North Carolina House elected to Congress!
News & Observer: "Are NC lawmakers drawing a congressional district for their leader, Speaker Tim Moore?"
But the NDRC has staff on the ground and is committed to doing everything we can to prevent politicians from choosing their voters instead of the other way around. Will you help us fight in North Carolina and all over the country?
