Creative Caring Earns 10 Communities Culture of Health Award

Report: Modernize Public Health Data Systems To Reduce Inequities
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation established a commission to better understand the ways in which the nation&rsquo;s health data infrastructure perpetuates inequities. Now the National Commission to Transform Public Health Data Systems offers its recommendations on how data can be best collected, shared, and used to improve health equity&mdash;and RWJF will fund projects that carry out these findings.

Nurses Supporting Family Caregivers
November is National Family Caregivers Month, and the American Journal of Nursing features a new series of articles and resources for nurses to help support family caregivers, who &ldquo;provide the majority of long-term care in the United States and who are vital, yet often invisible, members of the health care team,&rdquo; Heather Young, PhD, RN, FAAN, Susan C. American Red Cross Seeks Volunteers
The American Red Cross has put out a call for volunteers, listing its &ldquo;most-needed volunteer opportunities&rdquo; in shelters, disaster health services, blood collection support, and disaster action teams.
