Hello OLCV Book Club members!

It’s been a long time since we’ve held the OLCV Book Club, so I wanted to let you know about a different kind of book event coming up that I thought you might enjoy. On Tuesday, November 9th, a group of OLCV volunteers known as the Metro Climate Action Team (learn more about them here: [link removed]) are hosting a special presentation featuring author, PSU scientist, and climate activist Dr. John Perona. Dr. Perona’s book, From Knowledge to Power is a climate activist’s handbook that addresses climate change from multiple angles, for “ordinary citizens with extraordinary commitments.” Unlike our usual Book Club, you’re not expected to read this book beforehand--Dr. Perona will be giving us a special preview of the book, which hasn’t even been released yet.
